Givenchy Velvet Jacket & Pants
This late 1960's or early 1970's
ensemble from Givenchy is so cheerful.
Navy blue cotton velvet is printed with
big chartreuse and green polka dots and
smaller red polka dots.
The jacket has a Nehru collar, buttons
on the left side of the center, one
large patch pocket on the right side,
and cuffs on the full sleeves. It also
has an optional velvet belt. The pants
have a fitted waist with one button and
a center front zipper. Both pieces bear
the label of the Tribout Shop at John
Wanamaker, Philadelphia. They are in
excellent condition with minor fading to
the lining of the jacket.
