Malcolm Starr Beaded Cage Dress

Palest green organza is lavishly beaded by Malcolm Starr for this 1960's cage dress. The sheer beaded cage of organza falls loosely over a narrow pale green silk crepe under dress.

The neckline and armholes are heavily beaded, and the dress is covered with leaf shaped designs as well as beads shaped like leaves. Gold metallic thread vines are embroidered throughout. The under dress closes with a metal zipper at the center back. The cage dress closes with buttons and loops. It is in excellent condition.
