Made famous by First lady Jacqueline Kennedy the pillbox hat is synonymous with the 1960's.  Perched on the back of the head it did not interfere with the bouffant hairstyles so popular at this time.

This wool version was deigned by Marc Bohan for Christian Dior, Paris in a gorgeous shade of orange.  The hat is lined in white silk over a beautiful woven straw.  The interior hatband is a brown grosgrain ribbon, bearing the label from Dior. This hat is in pristine condition.
