1972 Yves Saint Laurent Haute Couture Gown, Museum de-accession

This elegant evening gown designed by YSL in the early 1970's is a striking combination of woven pink and green floral bouquets, black silk and a fabulous shocking pink ruffled petticoat.

The dress has a low ruffle edged neckline and a deep ruffle at the hem. The skirt has two pockets concealed in the folds. The dress bears the YSL Haute Couture label as well as a museum collection number. It is in pristine condition.
