Lachasse, London Haute Couture Coat
Lachasse, London was founded in 1928 as
an English Couture House. Their
exquisitely crafted garments are in the
permanent collection of the Victoria &
Albert Museum. The house is renowned for
their tailoring, inspired by the
masculine tradition of tailoring in
England.
This black, satin trimmed wool coat is a
perfect example of the quality of their
work. The collarless coat has three
black and gold buttons for closure and a
pair of pockets in the front seams that
are outlined in black satin. The coat is
fully lined in black satin with a
copious amount of hand finishing. It is
in pristine condition.
